Yoga Nidra Certification Course in Puerto Rico!

In a busy world that tends to focus on “doing” rather than “being”, these slower, gentle, and more introspective practices are essential to maintaining balance. When we don’t have a strong spiritual practice, the hardships, struggles and temporality of life can cause a great deal of confusion and stress. Stress has an extremely negative effect on our health and often leads us to seek external sense gratification as a means of “relaxation” or temporary escape. Yoga Nidra will provide us with a self study that allows us to not only relax in a healthy way, but actually provides an opportunity for deep introspection, resulting in a better understanding of the Self and our relationship to everyone and everything around us.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient and accessible guided technique that can lead us toward greater self-awareness and implement positive transformation in our lives. Nidra means “sleep” in sanskrit, so this practice can be considered “yogic sleep”, only we are not really sleeping, but rather reaching a relaxed state of consciousness that is in-between wakefulness and sleep. It is more like conscious sleep, where we use a systematic method to induce physical, mental and emotional relaxation but the Self stays awake and aware. By becoming deeply relaxed and guided through the Koshas (or sheaths of existence), we are able to escape our constantly “thinking” mind, and move closer to our true Self, free of the mind and false ego. In this relaxed state of mind, we plant the seeds of our Sankalpa to implement positive transformation.

This practice have a long list of benefits for our body, but more profound is how a regular practice changes the way we think, perceive, and react in this world and beyond. In this course, you’ll be able to experience these healing modalities first hand, deepen your understanding of why we practice them and learn the tools and techniques to share this transformative practice with others.

Tuition investment: $1,650 includes your room, 3 meals a day and all classes/course content.

Program led by Cilla Weisman, E-RYT 1000, BA in Psychology from University of Vermont. Certified in: Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Massage Therapy, Marma Therapy, Sound Healing, and 200 hours in Ayurveda Integration.

In you do not want to take the training course classes, but want a retreat where you can attend all the Yin and Yoga Nidra classes from March 27th to April 3rd and have free time during the day the cost is $1,895 with all meals included.
